A Horsemanship Riding Program
Spend two weeks of Summer with new friends, horse and human alike!
Camp Sessions: July 15 – 19, July 22 – 26. Mon – Fri from 9 am – 1 pm.
Each camper will have a structured riding lesson per day with a Phoenix trainer.
Campers will learn how to groom, tack up and untack, as well as bathe and put away their horses and equipment. Various aspects of horse care will also be taught, such as: horse body parts, components of tack, how to muck a stall and feed.
Fun and Games
Non-riding time will give campers the opportunity to participate in horse related games and activities, such as painting horse shoes, camp t-shirt tie dying, and more!
A pizza party will be held for the campers on Friday.
Camp will be held two weeks this summer: July 15 – 19 and July 22 – 26. Camp is held from 9 am – 1 pm Monday through Friday for children ages 4 to 12. One week of camp costs $300.00. Payment must be made in full with enrollment form and valid waiver.
Early drop-off and late pick up is available at an additional fee of $25.00 per hour (with proper notice prior to camp). Please enroll by Sunday, July 7.
What You Should Know:
Campers must wear jeans or long pants and paddock boots or closed toed shoes with a small heel (no sneakers). Hardhats must be worn while riding – we can provide helmets for students who do not have their own.
Please pack a healthy snack, lunch and drink. Pizza will be provided on Fridays.
All parents must sign a waiver for their child prior to the start of their camp session.
Sessions will be held rain or shine. There are NO make-ups.
